Wheel hop when moving from stop

I have a 1983 gsl and I had a bent axle and rear end that was messed up. Sounded like a rattle can.... A friend let me use a spare pumpkin out of an 84 and an axle, everything fit fine with no vibrations or rattle. The problem I have is when I slowly release the clutch my car begins to shake dramatically until 1st is fully engaged. The same happens from a stop into 2nd. Do you think the disc could be worn? It did not do this on the previous rear end. I changed the driveshaft to a larger. Added LSD fluid And additive. I apologize in advance for the grammar, I'm on the cellphone. Nick

Did this start after the installation of the new rear end parts? These symptoms are classic indicatin of a flwheel that needs resurfacing, but if it started after the other parts were installed then you could rule that out.

Sounds like a clutch issue to me. Maybe oil on the pressure plate or worn clutch.

Trans mount separated rubber from steel. Motor mounts are also probably sloppy.

This sounds more like clutch shudder rather than wheel hop, which is something you get when the tires are spinning.

Like peejay said it's clutch shudder but like I said it's caused by a bad tranny mount. Jack it up and see if the rubber is coming away from the steel.
