wheel fit ?
I just bought a set of wheels off a fellow club member a while back, they were listed here and on ebay as 4x 110mm, when I went to put them on today they do not fit, the spacing of the bolts seems to be 108mm
? is this a size that was produced, and what vehicle would this be found on?

4x108 (also same as 4x4.25") - Depending on the offset they may not fit much - most Fords (Focus, Tempo, etc) and Hyundai Stellar/Pony use a high offset. Older Alfas and old relatively obscure now Fords like Cortina MkI & MkII used a more rwd friendly offset. Took me a while to find a minilite clones in 4x108 for my Lotus Seven clone because of that. Some Mustangs were 4x108 as well not sure on offset.

I would like to keep them if possible, what would it take to redrill like mentioned by Jeezus, i also read a post here earlier about "loose head "bolts, a friend of mine called them "reduced shank" that will alow the 4x108 pattern to be bolted on to our cars,
I have had contact with the seller, and return was offered but i have already repaired damage(at my expense) due to chemical burn on one of them that was undisclosed by the seller, and then he tried to pas it off as water marks, they just got brand new tires as well so I am looking more towards making it work, any ideas?

Post pics of the wheel centers. That may give us an idea if they can be redrilled. I have a set of Rockwells that were 4X108 and the holes were ovaled to 4X110 to take studs and shank nuts. They will probably work fine but I'm not happy with the powdercoating I did on them, so they will be going up for sale.

just figured out what will work, i pressed the inserts out of an old set of stock rims, the "ID"(inner diameter) of the stock inserts is almost 2mm larger then the "ID" of the inserts in the problem wheels, can any one point out any problems I may incounter or ever worse cause?
