Terrified.
How well does it run? Does it leak oil? Does it have any problems aside from cosmetics? We need a lot more than just interior pics to decide how much this car would be worth.

sounds like you WANT to pay more for it. Or perhaps your uncle is not selling it and you are just guessing it's worth.
If the interior was representative of a 29k mile car, it certainly would be worth more.
Get a price on re-upholstering the seats- $500+
Door panels - never priced but figure 250
Rear hatch carpet - 150
These are guestimates.
Then add for miscellanoues items that aged and need replacement, estimate 400.
And the tires likely need replacing.
Now you have 1300+ into it and it without tires. Add purchase price of 600 and you have a 2,000 car.
Look at re-sale value of this car - maybe 2000 if lucky, and there you find that 600 might be a good estimate/offer based on this approach.

Burning Oil-Grinding 3rd
the carpet does not dry rot, it sun rots, was it out in the sun the whole time?
Odo looks funny, numbers should line up.
If you are happy with what you are paying then why are you asking us?

While low mileage cars may be desireable for collectors, they don't always make good DDs. Sitting and long term storage can cause as much or more maintinence problems as one that has been driven frequently, yet has much higher mileage.
I have 300ZX I have been redoing and have 1100 in the interior already, 450 for labor on the seats only, the rest has been materials . I have nearly that much in paint and body, materials only, as I do that myself also.
You can easily spend 1500 having the interior done right and and 1500-3k+ for paint.

We can understand your enthusiasm and desire, but it really sounds like a premium price - If you think it is worth 2500, get a price on repainting the faded part, fixing the interior to like new, and deduct these items l from the 2500 starting price. Negotiate a bit.
It is easier to say negotiate, than to actually do the negotiations sometimes. That is a skill that you need to develop just as well as mechanics. I myself have not been a good negotiator in the past, but I have been working on it. Since he is your uncle you will have extra time to negotiate.
Do the math and set a buying price that is suitable, say 1000. Then start with the 2500 and start deducting. Then you can see that your final number really is a reasonable number from buyers standpoint.
Then have the cash ready and get the title in your hands.
Good luck and keep us posted.
