only 86+ engines have a thermal pellet.

Yep....86-UP only.
If you are referring to the oil pellet in the front of the E-shaft,you dont have one.
And not much would happen if you did.Its mainly there to speed engine warmup,but if it fails in the closed position,your rotors get fried.
I eliminated my S5 TII's pellet during buildup,in the interest of safety and there has been no ill effects in 4 years.

wait a minute a took apart 12a motors that had a screw in the e-shaft, spring and pellet?
