what is up with my front end?

I just got this car yesterday, and I can't get over how low the front end is. More specifically, look at the wheel weels, the tires are tucked.

Now at first I thought it was because of the tire size. Those are 215/60/14, which I thought were a little big to be on front. So I took them and switched them to the back today, and sure enough, there was some rubbing taking place. BUT, I put the 185/70/14's that were on the back up front, and it's basically the same thing, tucked.

I looked at the springs, hoping to see a RB logo or Eibach logo, but I didn't. What would make the car sit so low in front?

I agree with 81Rex6port13b. Truly dead front struts allow the front to sag too.

The care IS an SE, or a GSL with an SE suspension swap. The FC phone dial rims are a direct fit.

BTW, looks like the front struts/springs are toast.

EDIT: Definately an SE, look at the exhaust tips/ they have the slight SE angle cut to them.

Yes, it's an '85 SE...and those are FC base model wheels, which I'm takin off as soon as I can, I hate them.

I paid $500 for the car.....not running, and I paid $300 for a god 15k mile j-spec block...

I'm probably gonna pick up a couple tires today and change them. I'm goign to leave the 215's onthe back for now though, they have plenty of room.

How much do struts run for these? I'm new to all of this...

SE's came with 14"x5.5" wheels. The standard tire size was a 205/60VR14.

oxidized and rusting. I'm replacing it with glass soon....

Well, if anybody has some stock front springs I can use, I'd consider taking them, so I can temporarily fix this problem.
