What are these hoses (right side of carb)

Car: 1984 12A - Runs, won't idle.

I've noticed two spots on the right side of the carb that might be of importance - one where a hose broke and another that I'm not sure about. I've looked through the manuals and can't figure out what they are, so here's a pic.

The circled spot on the right is where the hose broke, and the one on the left looks like something is supposed to go there, but I'm not sure - it was like that when I got the car. Can anyone tell me what these are? Thanks.

i believe it is all emisions **** to fix it iether patch the crack (cheap way) or replace and find out if thats it i think that will solve your problem. i accidently forget to reconnect one of those after installing RB header and it ran shitty so just process of elimination but i think that would be causing you idle jacked up

The one on the left is I believe the AAV #1. Mine was leaking internally causing erratic idle. Some inventive plugging/capping solved that little problem.

The one on the right... look in the manual.
