what size fuel line for an ida?

getting ready to switch to a 48 ida and was wondering if a 3/8" fuel line from the tank with a holley blue pump is big enough or should i go with a 1/2" 13b half bridge port

All you need is a holley red and there is no need for a return line.

i know i don't need a return line its a carb. i was talking about the feed line are you running stock fuel line or bigger because you can get an an6 (3/8) or up to an an8 (1/2) fuel inlet for ida's or does the stock line supply enough gas?

I dont think you know what you're talking about. The holley blue is 14 PSI; therefore, you will need to have a return line OR you will flood the carb.

really? the blue will flood the carb? even with a FPR? hmm...that's interesting. i've been having flooding problems with my Holley 465, -6 (3/8") lines, FPR set to 6psi

3/8" will feed about 400hp. The weber likes very low pressure so get a good regulator, you only need 4.5 psi.

And you don't need a return line.
