Yes. Maybe a bit louder, but with a nice deep tone. It's not metalic sounding at all like alot of rice cars out there. I may be selling mine soon if I can get a deal on the dual racing one when I get my mazdatrix motor in.

hmm. maybe we should try to agree on terms.
the reason i laugh at ricey exhausts is that they are NOT metallic sounding. they don't even sound like engines, they're more like a brass instrument with heavy muffling. no real tone, just a constant blaaaaaaat. a better analogy might be the sound a blimp-sized bagpipe might make if you were strangling it.
i accidentally made my car sound like this once. $15 2.5" turbo muffler. it sounded AWFUL. Fortunately the muffler exploded on the second night I had it on the car. (driving it an hour home wasn't too pleasant though )
A lot of it has to do with the tips. A single large tip will sound dull and flat. Two smaller tips will have a more pleasing (to my ears at any rate) sharper, more crisp sounding note. you can almost hear each individual exhaust pulse, instead of everything getting smoothed out like refried beans (blaaaaaaaaaat)
