but if that were the case, I would probably get a sunbean tiger, they are about the same size as a cobra they also came converted with a ford v-8, and their price tag is not nearly as high for an original good condtion model as the cobra is.

I'd be driving my old civic right now if I hadn't have gotten the 7. it wasn't that bad, fully tricked out. Body kit rims head and tail lights stereo exhaust everything but a engine swap, but I did that to the seven

The one car I really miss is my '89 323 LX. The interior was nicer than a lot of new econo-boxes, it was straightforward to work on, got good mileage, fit TONNES of stuff in the hatch, and took a licking and kept on ticking. I'd jump on a rust free 5-speed one.

I too would go for the older S30 chassis Z cars. The Z31 and on weren't cool at all. The only other Japanese Sports Car I would nod my head to.
Umm my other choices would probably be some early 90s or late 80s Lotus Esprits, or an 80s TVR Roadster. I've been able to track them all down for cheap and considered them, bt I'd rather look for the perfect 7 instead (prolly dumb, but oh well)

My 323, unfortunately, did NOT take a licking and keep on ticking.
The build quality on it is AMAZING for a base model car. It's like an FC interior, but it doesn't fall apart when you look at it
But, the damn Ford 4 Speed transmission is a piece of ****.
I'm trading it, with busted tranny, tomorrow for said Plymouth Sapporo.

Next to the Mustang, it's probably one of the last RWD Economuscles. In all honesty, though, this thing is ANYTHING but economy (nor is it American!)
It gets HORRIBLE times, though, for what it is. A "Fox" Mustang sized, RWD, 2300 pound car, with a 2.4 litre FOUR BANGER, getting 17's?! Rediculous!
In Australia, it's sold as the Mitsubishi Scorpio, or something along those lines, and in Japan is the Econosport version of the Galant (Called the Galant GSL, of all things).
Just for anyone that's curious
