What is eveyone running for tires?

Whats everyone running for tires and rims on their RX-7? I need new tires, and I have stock wheels, any suggestions?

Kumho PowerStar 758's in the stock size. Dirt cheap, and easy to find.

Sumitomo HTR200 205/60-13 - summer only tire and inexpensive $45.00

POS Dry-Rotted Parts Car Claims Kelly Springfield Chargers 205/60-13 - desperate measures only tire

Bridgestone Something or Other 185/70-13 - they came free with the car

Looking at getting 195/60-14 Falken 615 or Hankook RS2s, or 225/45-13 used Hoosers, or 205/60-13 used Vitoracers

There are some off brand tires I want to try, they run about $30+ a tire, but no experience with them as of yet.

Then again, what are you wanting your tires to do for you other than keep the car off the street? - are you looking for handling and performance, inexpensive price, stock size, M&S rating...that would help...but those are what I run, or will be running.

For stock rims, Sumitomo HTR 200 is the best you can get.

I don't have stock rims, I have 16x7's all around, but I have BFGoodrich G-Force sport 205/45R16's. They are an excellent tire, hook up very well. Can't say much besides that yet as I only have abou 100miles on the tires.

15" X 6.5" rims....205/55R15 TOYO Proxes4 all the way. BEST all season tire on the market IMO.....I drive in snow AND autocross with them

I'm sold on TOYO..never gonna go with anything else

15x7" rims all round, 205 50 on the rear and 195 55 on the front. Dunlop Direzza DZ101s. very happy with the tyre and is the softest full street radial i've ever seen. probably not wide enough for the power by car is making but it certainly does make it an interesting drive

Sumitomo HTR+ on both my Vert and FD.

They last long, have great dry grip and excellent wet grip. They wear well, are quiet, and only cost ~$79.

Falken FK-451
225/35-17 front and 245/35-17 in the back.
Damn good, sticky street tire if you got bigger wheels. They have worn very well over the last 2 years. Also "AA" rated for excellent wet traction.Tire shops hate them because they are so hard to mount....heh,heh!!

They smoke good too!

+1 for the BF-g's I have had them on for about 6mths. I like them. I have them on 16x7's. I like the fact that the break away has no squeel sound.

Running 17x10 (275/40/17) rims up front, 17x12 out back (315/35/17). Currently running sumitomo tires, got them for cheap so I plan on using them for the time being.

Planning on going with a 335/35/17 out back and possibaly running nitto 555R tires all around.

Sumitomo HTR200 in the stock -SE size

Kuhmo 712's on the 16" rims

I find it hard to even brake grip in very "spirited" driving with the Sumitomos... a very good/inexpensive tire IMO.

falkens ziex 512 gotta love the rim lip protector makes it wider looking
front 195/50/15(15x7) rear 205/50/15(15x8)

GREAT wear, good overall, not noisy.

I'm going to try Yoko ES100s in the back next.
