What does the rats nest look like?

Just wanted to know, so I know I still have mine or not!

Stand on the driver's side and look at the engine with the hood open....the blue air cleaner sits on the carb....the huge mess of vacuum tubes next to it and between your oil filler tube is all for emissions and is called the rat's nest....if you have emissions testing in MN, you need it to pass....

I dont think that I have it then, becasue I have the RB air cleaner assembly and have no hoses going to it. This must mean I dont have it any more huh?

It's understandable that you couldn't spot it.

Check behind the oil filter, it should look like this...



Blends right in, I know, took me a while to grab that photo myself.

Well, it is a real rat's nest. It happens to belong to a dusty footed wood rat.

Did it nest in my engine bay? That's a good question...
