What Do You Use For Vaccum Line?

Can I just go to a hardware store and/or an auto parts store and buy a roll of silicone tubing and "cut to length"? I assume i could, as long as it works...I only wanna do this because I think yellow vaccuum lines would look cool, and I dont think spray paint is the best idea . I figure if I bought a roll, then I could just take one off, measure, cut new tube to length, put new one on, repeat. Plus I would have leftovers to make fixes for those dern vaccuum leaks .

PS - If I cant do that, what should I use, and/or where can I get the stuff to replace em?

Just as long as the tubing is thick enough that it won't collapse under vacuum, sure! I wouldn't use it for fuel line or oil injection hoses without knowing for sure that it's rated to handle oil or gasoline.

A litle trick... most non-rubber hoses like to kink if you try to put a sharp bend in them, if you find a place where you need a short, sharp bend, instead of routing it normally, put the hose in a nice big 270degree loop. I had to use a 360 degree loop from my fuel regulator to the carb, sure it needed 3x the hose but it never kinked!
