I'dd take a screw driver and pry off the GSL-SE plate from the back of my 85 and glue it to the back of that car. Seems like the easiest solution.... :-)

That is a nice looking car in it's own right. Not sure the backend lines would match up well on a 1st gen 7 but I just may not have vision...

Thats a sweet back end, but it'd be a heck of a job to get it on a 7.

I think that if you really want that back end, you should sell the seven and go buy a '71 Corvette.

i was thinking of doing what you do for a convertable (626 trunk) and making the cowel...i have always wanted a rex with a vertical back window I can wind down.

i think it woulw bw possible to make...but would look even better with a GTU II wide body kit from meriah

The Mariah kit is a much better way of approaching the situation, unless you have a small fortune to invest in body work. It would be kind of cool to have a classic GT Ferarri looking 7, but by the time you got done making it you might as well have gotten a Ferarri lookalike kit car and put a 12A in it.

I think the lines are simmilar...and the more i think about it...the easier i think it would be to do.

not the whole car...we are not talkin about a replica here...but the back end...there is no shape to teh meriah kit...its too boxy.
