Actually the ones in the front are hidden by the crossmember. If you cant raise the engine on a hoist, just take your time and use a wrench for the inaccessable ones.

Good info to know.. I was planning to do mine at some point since it seems to have a slow oil/sludge leak around the seal... nothing to worry about right yet, but something to consider.

Carl, you're sure that they can be reached with a wrench, or am I gonna have to hit you up for one of your patented bent wrenches

Yeah, mine has a small leak too. What's the best way to seal it up again?

Be careful on those bolts, they snap realy easy. Dont ask how I know. They get very little torque.

Jon, I cant be sure since its been a long time since Ive done it. I usually have the motor out for whatever and she gets sealed b4 installation. If you want to getto it, just clean the hec out of the perimeter of the pan and goop sealant around the outside. Theres no pressure there, just gravity so itll seal. BTDT too. This is especially good for small leaks like yours Bob.

yah i did mine yesterday and i noticed the crossmember that was blocking a bunch of bolts. what i did was unbolted that crossmember there are 2 on each side then 2 more up inside... i had a car jack that was holding it and when it was unbolted i just slowly lowered it down and that gave me just enough room to unbolt it. to take the pan out i had to take the steering out.. its a real pain in the *** and takes a while.just be very careful no to tighten the little bolts they break very very easy!! i got mine done and the ****** still leaks i think the leak is commin from somewhere else. o well u live and learn rite./?

have a good day@!
