14 x 7 inch rim...will 215 fit?

14 x 7 inch rim...will 215 fit?

i know this is probably in the search somewhere......
i did look...but i couldnt find an exact answer....

i have 14 x 7 wheels...will 215's fit without rubbin?
85 gsl...


getting all new tires shortly.....

I've got 16x7 with with 215 40 and have lowered the car alot... i have NO problem with rubbing.

195's fit nicely IMO, im not sure a 215 would fit

7" wide rims with 215/40's are right on the limit

Not sure if they will fit on the front as there isn't much clearance

oh yes good luck finding 215 wide tyres in 14"

I have 225/50/15 on 15x7's in the rear, plenty of room.

bf goodrich and goodyear both make tires in that size......

215/60/r14/......

so nmow im still confused

smome say yes, some say no...sigh

in the rear = Yes

in the front = No ... not with 215/60's (I'm going on the fact that 205's have about 3mm's clearance to the front strut

+ your gearing is going to be out with 215/60R14's

Yea, I would go with probably some 195. or if you really want 205 in the front, 215s WILL fit in the back though. jsut make sure you get the correct off-set.

215/40R16's fit ... the shape of those tyres is significantly different from a 215/60R14
