I have black plates with polished rotor housings and it looks sweet but I think it would look pretty good if you paint them the same colour as your car. As long as it's not brown or some ****.

On my 12a, the irons were blue(Bright Ford Blue) with silver rotor housings. On my new 13bt, I'm going with color matched irons(Intense Blue Pearl) and polished rotor housings.

I think to be patiatroic to paint it red white and blue. I like the red/silver combo the most though. Red is a very stand out color. I prefer safety red myself, since its a very bright red. I did something different on my last engine, red rotor housings, but polished the "12aMazda" on the housing and then painted the iron plates silver. ...just to be different. he he.

But from a engineering standpoint, painting everything black is best because black conducts heat the best for cooling. Just not very cool looking though.....

Nasty corroded ugly looking. That way it doesn't look fast It's fun when some dude with a Prelude (with all the goodies) looks at your car and instantly thinks "POS" but then you totally annihilate 'im on the track

Oops, sorry bro. I wasn't implying that brown cars look **** in fact judging by your avatar I'd say they can look pretty good. Just meant that a brown engine might not look too spectacular. Can I take my foot out of my mouth now?

Ya on my 12a i am building right now i think i am going to go with all of them like flat black. and then polish the bell housing and the front cover. that way when i am out street racing or what not and people look at it in the dark they wont even be able to see it but they will be able to tell how long it is.
