what clutch to buy

welli decided to replace my clutch so what would be the best clutch for street driving/a little racing....the car is totally stock right now but should see a rb header and a nice carb in the future.

I have used ACT on every car of mine, i like them, i think the clutch kit with the street disc (ACT Part NO. ZC1-HD00) would be a good match for you
+1 on the light flywheel (i have aluminum ones on my cars), if your a smooth driver they work great.

black dragon sells a 3-in-1 clutch kit for rx7's it includes a new t/o bearing, pressure plate, and clutch disk. it goes for $150-$160 depending on the year of your rx7.

www.southbendclutch.com makes great clutches, prices start at $200 shipped. The clutch I use was $350 shipped, 6puck ceramic, sprung hub, heavy duty pressure plate, holds around 450ft/lbs and pedal pressure is about the same as stock. I don't think they list 12a clutches on their site, so just call 'em and they'll get you what you need.

A stock type clutch will work fine unless you plan on drag racing. If you buy an ACT or Centerline you will for sure get a much beter clutch, but for stockish power it is not necessary.
