I'm getting really tired of people stealing my wheel bolts. This never happened with any of my other cars, but for some reason people just LOVE to take them off my RX-7. Why? Are they too stupid to try asking Autozone before they hunt down RX-7's and steal their bolts? I DON'T UNDERSTAND. It's really not any fun to have to call up your buddy to have him pick you up from a parking lot and take you to Nappa to buy 12 wheel bolts every few months. ARGH

 

They take the bolts and leave the wheels?

They must suck... Sounds like you need new rims

My rims are pretty ugly. Stock '83 with most of the clear coat gone and lots of gouges. They tend to take 3 from each wheel and leave the last one probably because they don't feel like taking the time to jack my car off the ground. When I went down to AIM Tuning, a lot of the 1st gens were missing bolts the same way mine had been taken.

 

That sucks... Get locknuts...

 

Sounds like fatal attraction. I don't think it's the bolts they want, they want you out of the picture.

 

maybe you have a enemy and don't even realize it, if this has happened more then once I would be aware... Maybe park near cameras or something, I hate people that do this kind of crap and don't appreciate others things.

 

Take the caps off of the bolts, They wont be able to steel them then.

 

People who dislike the car that much just do things like key "paint me" onto the hood or write "smoking is bad for your health" on the fender with a Sharpie

16 lock nuts? Doesn't sound much more fun than buying new bolts.

What do you mean by take the caps off? I didn't know there were caps on there

 

they are bolts with a removable head. the head is splined and the cap is also. I had one that the splines were rusted down and the caps would slip on it. Had to make a special tool to take it off with. Once the heads are off they look just like Lock nuts But they are not as easy to remove as lock nuts.

 

sounds like he probably has converted to studs or something

 

they are trying to take yoru wheels.....and get tired....adn twana finish up later...but most likely someone wants you dead thats right D.E.D , dead !lol
