4 barrel carb and 13B? whats up?

Unhappy 4 barrel carb and 13B? whats up?

uhhhh ohhhh i thought i bought a 12a while cleaning the motor tonight i found a 4 brl and a 13b? the motor came from a 79 rx, wonder if someone changed it? what about the 4 brl, plus i was looking on the forum and i did not see the "rats nest" of vac lines? now i have a side draft dellorto with RB intake will this work or do i need to go shopping? thanx for helping a tru new to rotary guy. did not take long to figure out this is no chebby!!!!

ps the intake is for a 12A!! so now im all screwed up!!

wow, stick with the carb setup that came with it then. yea, someone must have swapped a 13b in there. what kind of 4 barrel carb is it.. a holley?

'74-78 13Bs (RX-4, Cosmo, REPU) were carbureted.

thats not an uh oh at all, i would say "hell freakin yeah" instead. I wonder if its an old 4 port like mine, they bolt right up to the 12a tranny no problem. If you already have a dellorto, just sell the 12a manifold and buy the 13b one, im sure you can get good money out of the manifold, at least enough to cover most of the 13b. And those few extra ponies sure will be nice!

So do all rotaries, anything between '74 and present...

so 13B is better cool, yes it is a 4 port, now what is the power output so on so forth as i said in my 1st post it is my goal to give my local mustangs a run for there dollars!! so how can i improve now

Properly modded and tuned it can reach about 200 ponies.
