There are a lot of answers due to all the variables. With or without intake and exhaust manifolds, oil filter/filler, distributor, studs, brackets, etc.? Which flywheel and counterweight, and which rotors?

Yea, sorry for the ancient bump, but I'm currious.

"...Which rotors"? I was under the impresion that the 12A for the RX-7 came in only one form (well besides the Japanese Turbo version) why would there be different weight and type rotors, and why would it matter?

there were several different types of 12 a rotors, the original 12a (pre 73) the more common variety (12ap = RX-7) (ap stands for anti polution) and the turbo 12at type, they all have different balance counter weights, and are not readily interchangeable to the best of my knowledge.
interchangeing them n accident will result in a out of balance, bearing eating monster.
