No non Se is gonna be lighter, remember the motor is a little bigger. And gas weighs what 7 pounds/ gallon?

Don't forget that the -SE brakes are also a bunch heavier, and the wheels are heavier too.

Scales here are certified to be +/- 20 lbs.. I assume it's the same in Ca. Was that 2540 lbs without you in the car?

Havent weighed my SE yet. Will after all my mods (suspension, seats, hood, intake, exhaust, ignition, interior goodies, and heavy *** subs and box)

No for a full SE and a full tank of gas, Id say thats about right... Gas at 7 pounds a gallon X 15 gallons , well you do the math

Mine weighed in at 2560lbs with 3/4 tank of gas and full interior with me (140lbs) in the car, AC pump and heat-exchanger removed, so we can say that my '85 gsl-se weighs in at 2420lbs. I imagine most of the weight over a GS for example, is in the engine, tranny, rear-end, and brakes.

blah

My '82 GSL weighed in at 2570 with me and half a tank. That is almost full interior, full rollcage, AC removed, lightweigh exhaust, emmissions intact, and steel 13x8 wheels. I weighed 190 at the time.
