Wd-40
Wd-40
I don't know if WD-40 eats rubber,,but on my rear end
all of the bushings looked dry,and dirty,,so i sprayed
WD-40 on all bushings, and guess what ? the noise
level droped, and the car feels way better over bumps
and on the freeway,,like it's working right,,not binding.
big difference

If it moves and shouldn't... Use the Duct tape... If it should move, but doesn't use the WD-40.
The problem is, WD-40 and Duct Tape are natural opposites.., Spray something with WD-40 and try to stick Duct tape to it. Or the other way around. The duct tape will fall off and all you'll have is sticky, slippery mess.
I wonder where engine grime fits into all that. SPray the grime with WD-40 and it's gone, but you can't stick duct tape to engine grime.

Dude WD-40 does a lot more **** too. Get grease/oil on your carpet, spray wd-40 on it. Rub and its gone. My kid got chewing gum in his hair, spray WD-40 on it and it wipes out!
Theres something else on a car i use it on, but people laugh at me, so Ill leave that one off...

No, LOL, actually I used to use it on my leather seats in my 80... I would wipe them down, and let it sit in the sun for a 1/2 hour, and they would be nice and clean, and beleive it or not they wouldnt be greasy or smell like wd-40, it actually worked really good. People said man that will ruin your seats, well it didnt ruin them in over 6 years!
yea duct tape is the best ,my motto is "if you cant duct it **** it"
anyway for your bushings and what nots id use a heavy grease, that way when you drive through puddles it wont go away like wd-40,i have to grease my oil pan,on the bottom.believe it or not,it was such a primo install job on the gasket that if you looked at it you would think i drive around with no oil.
normally just about any engine leaks a little to help lubricate the pan and stop it from rusting.

don't think anything can help my suspension bushings. I went under the car to see how easy it would be to install urethane bushings, and I could grab the tie rods and wiggle them easily with two fingers. The bushings are all cracked and eaten away. New bushings should tighten up the suspension nicely!
Yea I want polyurethane (sp?) bushing on my rex too. Anyone know where to get a good complete set for not mych $$$ Victoria British charges an *** load and they don't have a complete set for first gen's just second. Anyone know where to get 'em????
I've priced the ES bushings from many different places, and Victoria British was actually the cheapest. But after seeing the bushings I was replacing, I think it was money well spent. But be prepared to spend a good bit of time putting them in, getting the old ones out, and putting the new ones in isn't easy.
