warmin up

85 GSL.

I am always having to warm my car up using the choke before it will idle. This isnt a bad thing..as I've always warmed my cars up before driving...do all RX7's have to warm up for a while before idling? if not..whats the factor that determines whether or not the car will fire right up?

also..my freakin windows keep getting stuck, they are electric..they fall out of the groove and wont roll up or down, i have to take the door panel off, unmount the motor and reset them..the windows also wont seal unless i pull back on them while i roll them up..most annoying thing ever

a lot of rotaries i have owned required the choke being pulled until the engine is warm. sounds like your windows are off track. perhaps the plastic clip is broken on your track. that is common.

atleast you still have a choke. I gotta sit there and pump the gas to keep the rev up unti its warm enough to idle on its own

I have the same problem. I keep reading that it has to do with adjusting the accelerator pump but I just kinda learned to live with it.
