Wanted: MARIAH Mode One Wide Body

Hey everyone this is my first post here on this forum. I have a series 1 1980 that i am building as a race/street car so far iv done

RESpeed: coil over kit, adjustable sway bar, stage 2 cross member/steering rack kit

Working on now: ford nine inch diff, custom engine build and gearbox up grade and brake up grade

Sometime soon: role cage and chassis strengthening

I am really looking for a MARIAH Mode One Wide Body kit. I am after both front guards/fenders and both rear fenders and all so the Splash Panels, Inner Fender but they are not a must that would just be a bonus. I will be using custom front and rear bumpers.

I have emailed the Mariah company but have had no reply, are they closed down does any one know?

If anyone know or have a second hand set or a new set that they are willing to sell? please let me know as i am very interested, In fact i have my mind set on this wide body kit it looks unreal

cheers any help would be grate cheers guys

Personally, I wouldn't waste time on a used kit since the rear over fenders are supposed to be bonded on and have to be cut off. I do know Mariah ships to Japan so shipping down under should be doable.

There are 2 othe major wideboy kits availible. ISC Racing sells a decent looking one and Black Dragon sells one like what's on my widebody. The BD kit is the widest kit made and adds about 9" total width over stock.

When I first installed mine I had problems finding wheels that were wide enough and the appropriate offset to fill out the fenders. Since I'm now going with ReSpeeds big brake kit with the 5X114.3 bolt pattern, my wheels choices are wide open. I did however manage to import a set of 15X9/10" SSRs from Japan thanks to another forum member.

Last line in my sig is a link to pics of my widebody.

If you do get the kit, make sure you get insurance on the shipping.
I was advised by Mariah that they see a lot of shipping damage to fiberglass, especially bulky stuff.I went as far as to drive down to their shop and pickup my widebody in person.

I initially got in contact with Mariah through email from their website. They got back to me soon enough and were very good at responding to my future emails.

I then ordered my Mariah Hatch in person from them when I was holidaying in the USA.

I got them to send it airmail and double boxed as I didn't want to have to wait months for it, or having it lying around a ship thus increasing the risk of damage.

It arrived in Western Australia in about 2-3 weeks later in perfect condition. It cost me alot in postage, but it was worth it!

I got the Mariah hatch.

Cost me about AUS$1200-$1300 landed, that includes the cost of postage and then taxes, customs clearance, airport fees etc etc...

But like I said i got it sent to me via airmail as I wanted it in the fastest possible time.
