Hi,

I am trying to locate & price a diff gearset (5:1 or greater) to fit into my Gen 1 rear end RX7.

Can anyone help?

Mazdacomp (?) make one in the 5.15 range, but apparently it's rather weak.

If you were in the US I'd say just stuff a Ford 9-inch under there, you can get any gear you want between 2.50:1 all the way up to 6.50:1

That would be great, but what I did not tell you was it is for a race car where the rules stipulate you must keep the same housing etc. I have a set of full floating hubs and a torsen but am finding it hard to tracj down appropriate gearsets for the different circuits.

Yup Mazdatrix and RB do sell them (hell, it's probably the same part)

The US model Kia Sportage 4x4 has a compatible gear with a 4.778 ratio

Check out this site for more compatible gears...
