Upgrading alternator!!!

I got sick of the little 55 amp alt. so I went with a 105 amp delco CS130 alt. I don't have any pics right now but I'll get some tomorrow. It looks pretty nice, but I have to paint the pulley and fan again. It was pretty much a bolt on application........

No, they're different shaft sizes. You can get any double pulley off any delco alt and it'll fit. But it has to be from a delco to fit on the CS130. I'm going over to the shop right now so I'll get some pics and post them later today!!

The side mount bracket is sold at pineappleracing.com. If it is the same the one. Whats the need for the 105 amp alternator? What do you have that is in need to have 105 amps?

If your running a high powered aftermarket stereo, or adding other electronic parts, you'll want more juice. I'm currently running an FC alternator.

Pineapple quit selling them and atkins sells one now but they are made for the rx-7 alternator. I think the braket would have to be modified to work with a GM alternator.

Ok, sorry for the misinformation. I thought pineapple was still selling them. I know you need a bigger alt if you got a stereo and all. I'm just asking what he has to have to put that in there.
