Starting to look good there. Kudos for the effort and design. I hope you're using a fiberglass re-enforced putty/filler. Make sure you make a cut between the front of the rockers and the rear of front fender. Once you make the cut, you can fill it back in with seam sealer after primer/seal coat. Keep up the great work.

nope no fiber glass at all. it will take a car at 40mph to take this side off. all we did was weld sheet metel (look at my first post) then bodyed filled the rest then all we did was shape it. we took off all the fiber glass.

I guess your paper mache "body keet" didn't work out too well either.

that looks really good. Now make a rear bumper that's flush with the rest of your car.

Hmmm not going to lie it's coming together pretty well. When I first saw pictures of this thing I had some huge doubts, but it looks like you are actually thinking things out a bit more.

I agree something has to be done with the front end, you need to incorporate in a REAL front bumper, function over looks.

Just happy it's you doing the body work and not me. I pull wrenches on a daily basis and cringe at the thought of the endless hours of sanding and bondoing.

openshot, daytona blue.... it's gonna look nice!

You are gonna buy another rx7 ???

To answer your question about suspension swapping it's No... first gen and second gen suspension isn't inter-changable. You could swap motors though! There are write-ups for that, but it isn't easy.

keep posting up more pictures!!

Anyhow good luck and keep up the good work.
