Considering powder coating needs to be cured in an oven, Id have to say thats a prety unlikely thing to do.

Undercoating however, is a good idea if you take the time to prep everything well. Without cleaning up any rust thats there and sealing everything up good its prety pointless though. I believe Trochoid has done up a couple shells very nicely, so hopefully he will chime in and either direct you to one of his threads or post some pictures.

sprayable seam sealer should also work well.

LOL, I saw the Zero-Rust too in between naps this morning. Looks promising. I would still apply a sealer over it, then the truck bed liner. And yes I have done a couple of shells with the truck bed liner, one is the widebody, so far, so good.

Digging out the old seam sealer and treating the rust behind it is critical. New seam sealer is applied just before the liner.

Can't remember the brand name, but still a bed liner product, but it said it would not adhear to seam sealer. What brand (Trochoid) did you use and have you noticed anything around the seam sealer?

Dupli-Color Truck Bed Liner, have not noticed any delamination at the seam sealer.
