Um, er, yeah

Um, okay, I think I may have messed some stuff up ?

Here's the story:
While in my fervent haste to remove that ugly old carburetor, I found that some parts couldn't be removed to make the access to the bolts easier. So, let's just say that the entire rat's nest area came off. Then, with much blood sweat and tears, the carb came off.
To do this, we disconnected every hose (taking pictures of the process) that we could find around the nest/carb.
So, now I have two peices of rats nest in my storage bins. And a bunch of hoses/plastic tubes. And a bunch of stuff disconnected in the engine bay. And I have no clue where anything goes because of this:
THE MEMORY CARD ATE THE PICTURES. When I went to upload them to my CD page, it only had old pictures on it. I'm not sure what happened, but our careful planning has been blown to ****. I can't just 'reverse' the Haynes manual, because we didn't have it on hand, and we skipped almost fifteen steps when I looked at it later that day. I'll try taking more pictures of the damage we've done tomorrow so you can *maybe?* *PWEEEEESE?* help me out.

If you are taking the "ugly old carb" off and replacing it with something else, what exactly is the problem? You need to explain what you are trying to accomplish. There are only approx. 3 hoses actually necessary: fuel (and fuel return), vac. advance, and brake boost vac. line.

I dont think you would've messed anything up. I did the same thing a long time ago. It took like two hours to get the carb off the first time i did it. lol I basically turned the car on and took off everything that didnt make it quit running. This was all before i knew about the tutorial. Now i have a sterling carb and the only line i have are the dizzy line to the carb spacer. Now if i want to take the carb of it takes about 5 minutes
