I don't know what you guys are talking about "turning a first gen. RX-7 INTO a powerful car?" What are all of ya'll used to driving? The FB is very impressive to me, and I've raced my friends WRX on the street and auto-x, rode in a friends supercharged S2000 (342 HP), even after feeling all that thrust and more...I still think that the FB has a great engine, I've never driven my own or even one that doesn't have a header all ready but. Also why would you want to rev to 10000 anyway? Thats kinda ridiculous, what you gonna do with all those rpms? And also why some of you guys want to hate on hondas? You hate hondas because some guy in your town has a ricer accord he thinks is fast? How stereo-typical is that? My sister's 89' accord LX-i reached 300,000 before the auto tranny broke, we still revved it to 5 and 6 grand the whole way until and even after it was in neutral permenately. Last time I autocrossed my stepdad's 2000 Subaru Impreza 2.5 RS I got beat by some body in a HONDA CIVIC, actually that one was turbo, and I'm only average racer for now.

Ya whatever, an *** load of power is 150 RWHP? dude thats still slow, and any turbo b18 will rape you. To make an FB powerful you need a t2 swap or REW swap. then crank boost up to 10 plus. i have a 13bt in my 81 with exhaust, remapped ecu, 680 secondarys etc. very reliable and runs perfect. i dynoed in hot weather at elevation 218 RWHP and 243 touq all at only 10 psi. at 14 psi i make almost 280. Keep in mind this is completely reliable.

Why, its a known fact that the stock ports in 13b's cannot flow more than at max enough to make like 160-170.
