It would be about 250 U.S. dollars for the exhaust manifold, but if you are in Australia i would just go and find a 12a stock turbo.

if you do a search for 12 turbo you can up with a bunch of different threads that discuss all aspects of this subject. a lot of people have put down some very useful information. good luck with it!

Matress there is no problem using a 12a if the boost is low. It is very difficult to turbo a Nikki, its far better to use a sidedraft such as a Weber DCOE. Among other things its easier to fit an Intercooler.

The only RX-7 with the 12AT was not exported outside Japan, it gave 137bhp with a 1/4 time of 15.4 seconds in stock trim.

what is wrong with using a niki in a blowthrough? Is a Nissan Pulsar GTiR intercooler a good idea? They are pretty big and seem to flow pretty well for a stock cooler and I am probably able to get one cheap.
Cheers everyone, this is a big help.

Matress- have a look at the Rotaryshack site. Certainly read the Turbo write-up post by MoreMazda- its great information.

Among the many problems with the Nikki is getting a bonnet which is not too tall. I have no information on the GTiR IC but remember front mounted can restrict your water cooling- a possible problem in Melbourne summers
