TurboII Swap Weight Bias?

Hi I tried searching but either I suck at it (quite possible!) or there is no real info where I was looking.

I was wondering what the overall weight gain and balance of an FB is post TurboII swap. I'm debating on switching to boosted power over the N/A setup we are running now in the name of torque. I have to keep the same power due to the rules (unless I add weight, which I would rather not...), but 40ish ft-lbs of torque would be sick!

Thanks

From my site, http://www.cris.com/~Asam/Res7/Res7.html : 2540 lb. (1360 front, 1180 back)

That's a GSL-SE with an '87 T-II engine and gearbox. BTW, it's for sale. Speaking of torque, it puts 301 lb./ft. to the rear wheels.

Thanks for the info. That's too much front weight for me, looks like either going to stick with the all-motor route or add an extra rotor to the front... My car is 2340 right now with a 49F/51R weight split. That would put me roughly 53/47.

Due to my class rules, my car would only be able to make ~270 whp so obviously 300 wtq would not happen either way.

I run with NASA. The car is setup to run PTC right now, but I'm most likely going to start tearing it apart to run ST2. ST2 is a power to weight regulated class. In other words, I can run whatever combination of engine I want, as long as I do not exceed the ratio. Long story short, at my cars current weight (2340 with me in it), I'm allowed ~270whp.

Just out of curiosity--do they bring a dyno to the track to check cars that are protested?

We don't have them at every race. We don't protest each other much either way though. I wish we had it around more so I could check myself across different elevations. Not much different here in the midwest, but would be interesting to see.
