turbo water lines - pressure

I'm trying to sort the water feed and return lines for a 12a turbo conversion. Not running the stock water pump, as I have an EWP between the bottom rad outlet and block inlet, then just a straight hose from block outlet to top rad inlet.

Can I run the water feed from the inlet manifold water channel, and then the return into the top radiator hose? Just not sure if there would be enough pressure difference to flow water through the turbo. Otherwise I could source the feed from the EWP outlet and return to top rad hose..

Suggestions? I mainly want the return water from the turbo to be cooled by the rad before re-entering the block. Thanks

I don't know which turbo you're running (stock?), but the Garrett turbos don't really use the water cooling circuit until engine shutdown, at which point they rely on convection flow of the coolant through the CHRA. So for those turbos, the requirement is that the upper port be routed to an upper portion of the cooling circuit and the lower port be routed to a lower portion of the cooling system.

Dont know if this helps but may give you an idea. Im not sure about the stock routing either. I need to figure this out aswell, but wont be installing for a couple months.

Why not run it inline with your heater core line?

Spose that makes sense... Only thing is I was hoping to have the turbo return line before the radiator so it gets cooled...

Guess I'll need to get a water pressure gauge and find out the hard way.
