Alright, here we go again.

If you want to buy a kit, you'll have to go with a camden supercharger kit from Atkins Rotary (iirc).

If you go turbo, you will have to custom fabricate everything from turbo manifold, carb hat, even do work to the carb to support boost (I assume you have to do that for supercharged application as well), along with changing things around (relocate battery, find a means to mount an intercooler, etc. etc.).

If you go the route of turbo you are in for a lot more problems, and a lot more time; however, if you go the route of supercharger, you are going the route of tons of money.

Either way its going to be costly, but if you have no fabrication skills you're probably better off going route of supercharger.

Either way it is tons of work.

And now for the answers to what will probably be your next question (What all needs to be done to install a turbo?) - Search. Search both, superchargers and turbos. Search until you can learn next to nothing more from searching. That is the only real way you will ever be able to decide which route you want to take anyway. Information is the key.

For low boost applications, you don't necessarily need an intercooler. However, if you are going to be running more than, like, 6PSi, you will want an intercooler to maximize effeciency.

3 most popular questions asked by new members in thier 1st post: Can I turbo?, Where can I get a wing?, Where can I get a body kit? Where can I get wheels comes in close as #4.

The answers to all 3 of these questions can be found by spending time reading up in the 1st gen section. Start with the FAQs at the beginning of the forum, then hit the archives, then move on to the search function.

As far as a 'kit', there none made, they are pretty much diy and many variations on how they are done.

Welcome to the forum, and the Darkside.

Sig line has links to some of the basic places to to start your new education. School is now in session, there will be testing later. lol

I'm havin the same problem finding a good priced TII motor... I have about $2400 to spend and it's not gonna cut it... debating on just investing in new suspension, 13b rebuild kit etc instead.

I all ready have 2 TII engines and trannys, 3 turbos, a wiring harness and ecu. There is no way I can stay under another 2500 by the time I buy the rebuild kit, upgraded internals, exhaust mani and turbo, injectors, clutch, fmic, piping, fuel pump, driveshaft, standalone, etc.

As many of you know I do 98% of my own work, at this point in time, the driveshaft is the only work I will send out. The rest of the expensises will be in parts, no labor. If I can stay under 3k in parts, not counting what I already have, and still hit my hp goals, I will be satisfied. I get very **** with my work some days and yes, it tends to cost more because of that, but, I will have a very streetable, high hp, 1st gen that I will be able to drive for many trouble free years. My philosophy is 'If you are going to do it, do it right and do it once'. By the time one gets done redoing a ghetto setup for the 3rd time, doing it right the first time can look pretty cheap.

Yeah, I know, I can be a nag somedays too.
