Turbo question...

Sorry...this isn't FB specific, I just know guys have more experience with this stuff.

I'm turbocharging a GS750 block with hopes of running 7~8lbs...that's it. My ambitions are puny. I'd LOVE to run a blow-through setup but I don't know if my carburetors can handle it...I'm afraid the 8lbs would crush my floats. I'm not really sure how resiliant floats are. The biggest reason why I want to run blow-through is because I'd like to have an intercooler.

However, since I don't think my floats will hold up to it, I'm likely going to run a draw-through. I know this really doesn't require much in the way of carburetor modification but I'm concerned about fueling. Would a single 38mm carb be able to supply enough fuel to cover a high compression 750cc engine? I'm considering running two to the turbo inlet. I have a pair of parallel 38mm CVK's that would be perfect for it.

A big question I've got is for the turbo. The engine I'm using is air-cooled, but I'm adding an oil cooler to it. No water. Would it be alright to just run oil to both the oil and coolant inlets on the turbo?
