Turbo II Super-GSL-SE
#2
I'm in the process of doing that.. The things to worry about are ECU, Tranny, Cooling, Intercooler, & exhaust....
I am going with a Haltech for the ECU & a TII tranny.. I have a nice aluminum griffen radiator & plan on doing a custom FMIC...I am also using a FD upper intake & Throttle body. I am not going to use the stock Turbo either..
A GSL-SE tranny will work but will not hold up for very long. I plan on doing the rearend later.. i hope it will last a little while..

will the stock manifold allow the TII motor to fit in the frame rails?
I have heard a custom manifold must be used. If not a REW manifold is much narrower in realtion to the placement of the turbos so it should work ?

I think that is only on RHD cars.. I don't plan on using the stock turbo though...
I really don't know for sure.. If i ever get around to putting my engine in i can tell you for sure.. Hopfully i can do that soon... IT is all ready to go.. I just need to powerwash the engine bay & maybe paint it...
