ok, this may be a stupid question, but does it matter what coil is leading and what one is trailing?

yes, trailing is the most forward to the front of the car, the ignition reads off this.

Well, if you are asking whether there is a physical difference between the two coils then no, they are exactly the same. However, it is important that the correct wires run to each coil. You can swap them back and forth, as long as you swap the wires as well. Make sense?

yah but what wire is the leading wire and what coil is the trailing.

OOPs ! I thought the one in the front was leading .........So the one w/the blue terminal is trailing right?
