Transmission rattle???

I just put a new rear main seal, clutch, slave cylinder, throwout bearing, pressure plate, bearing cover gasket, and input bearing seal, and when the clutch is depressed it makes no noise... when i let off of the clutch in nuetral it rattles?? Could it be the throwout bearing, or the input bearing??

my clutch does that to, more of a growl. I was thinking maybe clutch drag, like from a warped flywheel or a bad pressure plate, but you changed that. I wish I knew man

Do you have a short shifter? Those are known to rattle.

Make sure you tighten down the shifter into the tranny properly, maybe its loose.

Pilot bearings make noise with the clutch in when they are bad ottherwise they aren't doing anything when the clutch is engaged.

The throwout bearing is the problem, i lost the 2 spring clips that hold the throwout bearing to the fork. so the throwout bearing is movin back n forth between the fork. Does anybody have any spare clips??? doubt it im in michigan though
