Dont know on new.

Mouse is rebuilding them with Miata guts for like $800.

I am interested in rebuilding my tranny with miata guts. Is it a pain to get the miata parts in, or are they a direct replacment? Also, does anyone know of a good place to get the miata parts fairly cheap?

Gravy, just switch out the tail shafts from the N/A to the turbo, unless you already have a 13b. Then it's just bolt in.

already have the 13b. but on the mazdatrix website it says it is not just a bolt on. are they refering to switching the tail shafts? if that is all it is how hard is it to switch those shafts?

A couple bolts and the shift rods....Quite easy

Get a haynes manual, it should take less than an hour to change the shafts.

Have fun putting it into gear with worn synchros.

Most likely that if the synchros are worn out, it's time for a rebuild. www.drivetrain.com has kits available
