tranny bump

Ok guys I got a funny thing going on and am alittle worried but alittle like F' it. Ok when I'm driving and have my hand on the shift I feel a bump like the exhaust is bumping the tranny or somethin but it's obviously not. Is there something it could be that I should be worried about? Thanks guys.

What kinda bump are we talking about? If you're driving it's normal for your shifter to shake and bump a little. If it's dramatic and there's clanging you might have a broken mount or exhaust hanger.

check on the drive shaft yoke going into the transmision....some times the round thin sheat metal that surounds the yoke actualy hits the transmision.....the tack welds holding it on break and then it hits......good luck what ever it is..

old or breaking mount?
driveshaft issue (maybe a weight fell off or something)?
U-joint? (but you should hear clanking/banging from a dead stop)

don't ear banging or clanking. Just feel a slight tapping in the shift ****. The **** could be ratling apart lol. Done that one already and had to tighten the bolts back down.
