Need to adjust the TPS - search under 'TPS' and you should get the full rundown.
It's not a 'plug-and-play' accessory, unfortunately.
The gist is that you'll need to set the TPS for the optimum 'center' position at your engine's idle setting so that it can feed a proper signal to the ECU to adjust for fuel injection mapping. (You're talking about an EFI car SE, right?)
Reply back here if you don't find what you're looking for, and I'll give you the whole rundown,

yeah I have a similar problem... one of the 2 light bulbs just never ligths, so when I try to adjust the TPS its hard to say how far is too far turning that screw clockwise.... since i will never get to see both lights on simultaneously. So now my TPS adjusting screw is pretty much all the way to the *clockwise* end, which i'm not sure is a good thing.

I've never seen an actual tester other than the cheapy i built out of lights bulbs and wire (which works fine BTW)
Longduck is very knowledgable in this area but I'll jump in anyway -
Actually, you don't really need a tester - you can "hear" 2 audiable "clicks" as you adjust the TPS screw. The clicks are about one full turn of the adjusting screw apart. If you have the screw twisted all the way down, start backing it off until you hear the 1st click - that tells you that you are in the range of adjustment - keep twisting (about one full turn) counter clockwise until you hear the 2nd click, you are now on the other side of the adjustment range. You want to be half way between the two clicks - it's that easy.
Note - the ignition has to be on in order to do this test - that means the key turned all the way on without actually starting the car. Secondly, you should warm up the car prior to making any TPS adjustments.
Longduck may want to add or elaborate on this

Northern 7 is on the right track, but if you're still at a loss - read this recent thread about TPS adjustment:
https://www.rx7club.com/showthread.p...hreadid=293113
Also, check your light bulbs to make sure one's not burned out - it's always the simplest things. On the 'clicking' - these are your vent and vacuum solenoids, which perform different features, and if they're not in good working order, may not give a good TPS position when you're done.
Building the 2-light TPS adjuster tool is simple, effective, and cheap. Read up on it, build one, and reap the rewards.
