I have removed my rat's nest, don't have any oil leaks, got them all fixed. The car is running nice and smooth, doesn't seem to be running too rich, but I continue to get a fair amount of smell inside of the car. The exhaust is all new. Does anyone else seem to have this problem?

does it smell like gas burning?

 

It smells more like exhaust, but then again it may be gas. It pretty strong at times.

 

How new is the exhaust?. I replaced my and it took several weeks for funky exhaust smell to go away. It also didnt help that the inner shifter boot was dry-rotted and split..

 

I only have about 200 miles on it. I replaced everything from the main exhaust pipe back. I replaced pre-cats with a small silencer, 2" pipe back to a new Magnaflow. I have a new leather boot, but maybe I need to stuff some rags inside the console, perhaps that will stop some of the smell.
