The knot head engineer that located the temp sensor on a 12A, and the suceeding knotheads that put theoil filter and plumbing right in front of it, you get to turn 1 flat at a time. GRRRRRR

Not GRRRRRR Bob, you need to go OMMMMMMMM........ It's the Zen of 12A's. Did you degrease the area first? That will lower the frustration level ten fold.

Ray; Hello again. Yes ,I even washed the whole engine bay at the car wash, It is that my hands and fingers dont work like they used to,but it is still a dumb engineers fault. I am still nibbeling away on the RX 3 and the seven. Next biggie will be to find the leak on the omp. and then the turn indicator return . If you have any gratituous tips or tricks, I am waiting to accept any or all. The cars are getting older, but darn it so am I. Thank you . Bob

a 1/4 inch rachet, a 4 inch extention and a deep socket is all it took to get my temp senser out was super easy, took like 8 seconds. or am i not thinking of the same thing?

located right below the oil filter on 12A right?

i use a 3/8" drive with a 3" extention and a 12mm deep well socket when the oil pressure sender is removed..though a 1/4" ratchet with extension fits better and helps to snake past the oil pressure sender when its in place
