tokico install Q

I lost the instructions that came with the strut cartridges. I know about adding oil to the tube but can't make sense of the hardware that came with the cartridge. There's a nut (know where that goes), a cap nut (to hold the cartridge in the tube) and two brass rings (don't know what they're for). Do the rings sit under the cap nut to hold the cartridge in place?

yes for the front ones ... the stuts housing nut has 1 ring on each side take each one off and put the new ones on.

they give you two in case the first one bottoms out when tightening, i think i used two
