First of all I'de like to start by saying i am not looking for a war of words. I'm new to this forum, and frankly I am disappointed, the other day I posted to see pics of a 1st gen on some 18's, i got a bunch of RICE this, Rice that, to be frank I don't give a rats *** what you think I ask for pictures, i started to read threw a large part of the forum's and I was surpriesd on how many negative feed backs there was, Years ago i fell in love with a 1st gen, for its contour lines,it's sleak profile,2 seater, and to make things better it had a unique engine,The Rotary Engine, I saw this car and said UNIQUE, I judge know ones car negatively, what I see instead of some fugly rims, or some fugly interior, I see the time, effort,and love each seven is built with, everyone has there own and unique style, the whole Rx-7 is based on uniqueness. We should encourage one another to do what it is that exites us, we are a unique group and instead of shooting one another down, lets help each other stand strong, I responded to my post with, ok maybe I will place some 17's instead of 18's, but fooogetaboutit, I will stick with 18's cause thats what I want and if it's possible I will. please understand i am not trying to put know one down, but damn guys whats up we are all one in this world of many..Long Live The SEVEN>>>>>>>

yea, there are some people that take the "rice" thing to the extreme.

its all a matter of preference. do what you like its your car and your money.

hell i have 2001 celica seats in my 7 dose that make me rice? to some maybe, not me i dont care they fit and are comfortable.

and just be happy you did not make a post about putting a V8 in your 7

 

What you have to realize.....is because the car is modifiable and everyone is different, there will ALWAYS be different opinions. The forum is RX7 club, not Modified Rx7 club, not RicerX7 club, not stock RX7 club. There are people from every state in the US, people from countries everywhere. Some people here strongly bond to the look of the Rx-7 in stock form. Some people, like myself, like bodykits and different wheels. I believe the point of this club, was to bring EVERYONE together.....but to expect everyone to agree, or not post their opinion, is silliness.

Do what you LIKE with your car. I do what I like with mine. But if you feel THAT strongly that everyone should agree with you, or not post.....you should make a new club for Rx-7s with 18s.

I totally agree with cody. Everyone has different opinions. Also, just cause someone online flames you doesn't mean you shouldn't do what you want. It's your car, no one else's. People are just giving their opinions, no matter how they say it.
