Throttle open angel
Throttle open angel
Well iv been endeavoring to fix this idle problem for some time now. Iv read allot of post and posted allot myself. I cant seem to find this answer in the book or the forum if anyone has the answer it would be awesome.... What is the primary throttle angle at idle. i know that the secondary it supposed to start opening at 15 degrees of primary and then open in unison with the primary. i thought i had read somewere that it was like .043-.060 . again anyhelp would be great. i really really want to get her back on the street before it gets to cold and im forced to drive the mini van to work LOL... Thanks again

For the GSL-SE the published clearance on the primary plate is 1.1-1.7 mm (0.043 - 0.067 in). For the Nikki, it looks like the clearance should be 1.0-1.2 mm (0.040 - 0.047 in). This is from the FSM, BTW.
Hope this helps.
