Well iv been endeavoring to fix this idle problem for some time now. Iv read allot of post and posted allot myself. I cant seem to find this answer in the book or the forum if anyone has the answer it would be awesome.... What is the primary throttle angle at idle. i know that the secondary it supposed to start opening at 15 degrees of primary and then open in unison with the primary. i thought i had read somewere that it was like .043-.060 . again anyhelp would be great. i really really want to get her back on the street before it gets to cold and im forced to drive the mini van to work LOL... For the GSL-SE the published clearance on the primary plate is 1.1-1.7 mm (0.043 - 0.067 in). For the Nikki, it looks like the clearance should be 1.0-1.2 mm (0.040 - 0.047 in). This is from the FSM, BTW.

For the GSL-SE, the measurement is listed on page 4B-46 of the 1985 FSM. I haven't measured mine, but I am sure if you get anywhere in that range (0.043-0.067 in), you should be fine.

Thanks Kent i did go back and refer to the FSM. I Guess that page was missing ....LOL no i really over looked it thanks to you and our fellow ANGLE ANGEL's for setting me straight. Hopefully i can get her running this weekend.. I have a bad feeling that im looking at an E.C.U. prob though.
