Speaking of wheels...

I see these 280Zx's with black mesh rims...do they also fit the Rx7 bolt pattern? Can I buy these or find them from a junkyard from a 280 and swap it with my 7? They look exactly like the enkie mesh...kinda of like these...

I'm not totally positive if they're SSR's, but i'm going to ask the guy with the 280's if he's willing to sell them. He parks them outside for weeks at a time!

It looks like the Zs use 4.5x4 (114.3x4) pattern. This is the same as the GSL-SE, but will not fit any other first gen. The other first gens have a 110x4 pattern, which is hard to find replacement rims for. I don't know of any other cars off hand that use the same pattern as the non-SE first gens.

You have a few options:
- get custom drilled wheels
- use wheel adapters
- switch to GSL-SE suspension (may be a bit harder to do on the SA then other FBs)
- hope to get lucky enough to find rims that you like that will actually fit

VB is just starting to put up their catalog online. There are some wheels in the actual catalog, though. I am sure that they will eventually show them online, but for now you will just have to order one of their free catalogs.

Question questions about panasports

Are Panasports a knock-off of Watanabe racing rims? they look similiar but the watanabes have been around since the mid 70's are cast from either magnesium, or aluminum depending upon year of manufacture?

I honestly don't know which came first hence the question
