Question Threading On GSL-SE Oil Cooler?

Just wondering what the threading was for the inlet and outlet of their oil coolers. I'm adapting one to fit on my Celica, so I'll need to get some fittings and hose to make custom lines. Thanks.

Hmm, not looking into using AN sized fittings or steel braided line, just some rubber hose like what Perma-Cool supplies with their oil cooler kits. Any clue what the thread pitch is on the 16mm part? 16 x 1.5, 16 x2.0, etc.?

Use the stock hose ends since you can make the custom lines. Just be sure to crimp them good or weld teh ends.

This is the threading on the hose side of the steel adapter fittings, right?

Anyone know what it is for the inside of the oil cooler bosses?

Those are the threads for the male fittings that go into the bosses. In my case, I used -AN male to 16mm x 1.5 (and 18mm x 1.5) adapters to mate with -AN hose ends.

Make sense?

I had (it seems mistakenly) assumed those thread sizes you mentioned were the "hose side" of the male to male steel adapters that originally screwed in to the bosses, because based on pics I've seen, it seemed like that's what everyone's been doing.

Just to clarify (and only because I've been going nuts with parts guys all week just not understanding what I want so I want to be 110% sure before I order) you have:

SE cooler - 16x1.5mm male to AN male - female AN on hose

and not

SE cooler - OEM steel male/male fitting - 16x1.5mm to AN - female AN on hose

If that's it, then awesome - that's how I want to set it up, and I can FINALLY get these ordered and get this thing rollin'
