Talking Thought this was funny :)

Sorry, but I had to pass this along... Found it in the Test section. Made me crack up!

P.S. I've really got nothing against ricers...

Boeing just found this picture and immediately dispatched a searching unit to find out who has their stolen wing.

thats been on here a couple times b4 but you guys should know that people mod their cars to what they like. it's the perpose of modding anything. making it the way you like it. who knows maybe someone thinks that stereo system you put in is **** or that new intake is gay. but it's not their opinion that matters. it's what you think of the car that matters. if it makes you happy, go with it. i'm not a fan of the wing look, but atleast it'll do something for him unlike on a fwd honda or something. but seriously leave it alone.

I like the wing, but most you see are on Hondas. I think wings like that belong on a RWD car, like a Supra.

Wings belong on planes and cars that make over 300hp. Other than that, their use is either limited or restricted to asthetic. Trying to make your car look faster than it is by putting things on it that would only be useful at speeds *WAY* above what you should be doing on the roads is just a silly jr.highschool kid-like attitude. I've met alot of people who are more rice than race, and basically, they never grew up out of elementary school.

Now of course I don't mean *all* people are like that, and some of those mods actually look *good* on the cars that they're done on. Sure it's their choice, sure it's their preference, but from what I see it's just another big male dick-fest. "Oh look at me, my car's got the bigger wing, so I must have the bigger ****"

And to think, I'm a teenager too. Gah.

I put a HUGE wing on my fb - it looked stupid to say the least (especially when mixed with the side graphics, neons, LED washer jets, etc)

Don't worry - they're not on it anymore!!!

I don't care who's car it's on, who's wing it is, how much he paid for it, or if it's functional or not. In my opinion that thing is FUGLY!!! Then again his opinion matters to him and my opinion is all that matters to ME.

Just slapping a giant wing on a completely stock body, suspension, and wheels just looks so weird and ugly to me

Maybe if he had a full body kit, lowered suspension, and wheels--then it might not look so out of place... But then again, I don't really like riced up 7s.

That wing is completely useless unless he can retract the wheeels while in flight. Gee, some people need to get the basics of flight down before making a purchase like that,....

Amen. I agree that whatever you like on your car is what you like on your car and that is your business. But at the same time we have to think, "That guy is trying to make is car look FASTER when it obviously is (assumably) stock." If he wants his car to look COOLER than i would have to say "Ok that is his thing and there is nothign wrong with making your car look nice." But there is a thin line between making your car look nice and making your car look fast.
Yesterday my friend wanted to buy a car and so we stopped at this one civic ( i know i know but it was his thing ). The thing had 18 inch rims... HUGE body kit... HUGE wing... lowered... exhaust... interior COMPLETELY custom... altezzas... black front lights... new hood... i mean this car looked like it came out of a car show. Then you look in the car and it is an automatic... you think... "uh.... ok...." and then you look at the sign and it says this "NO ENGINE MODIFICATIONS". Now honestly. Please somebody agree with me that this was ridiculous. This guy wanted to make his car look fast and he had done NOTHING in doing so. If he had done things to make his car fast and also added some nice touches to make it look nice i have no problem with Civics/Integs/Go-Carts but the line has to be drawn somewhere.

a lot of people said my **** was rice when i described it to them, or showed em pics. they see it in real life and they change their story REAL quick.

if they want to spend their money that way sweet go for it. i dont think it would suit MY car so i'm not gonna go for it. maybe they have PLANS for their car, like, you know, once they get more MONEY they could afford MORE parts?

How many people do you know save up the money for all 4 pices of the body kit, rear wing, rims, tires, springs, struts, swaybars, bushings, paint job, and engine swap and do it all at once? NOBODY, unless your forkin rich. ppl do it step by step. my guess is he has taken his first step.

By the way, for anyone confused, I was saying that the way the picture was labled was funny, not the wing. I personally think its your car, do what you want. I even thought about putting a wing on my car, but I didnt/havent. I was just laughing at the way it was labled...Probably cause my friends and I say "small problem" all the time to everything, even if its something big like a power outage at a hospital.

I must say - That is pretty stoopid, I mean, hell - the rest is so standard - to glue a MONSTER wimng off a jumbo jet onto a "7" and honestly expect any respect. . . I personally hate the wing look UNLESS it is done right, the best spoiler I ever saw on a seven looked really great - see my "NICE SPOILER" thread. (How can I add a pic to a post here?)

Thumbs up

I'm glad when I drive thru a populated area loaded with riced-out cars with wings. It keeps the cops' attention focused on the punk driver with backwards hat and not me.

I truely believe this "ricing-out" phenomenon is primal in nature. It's a look of intimidation; an extranious attachment to advertise some kind of 'viability' amongs their peers- just like a lions mane. Whether it's a giant spoiler on the back of a car that would flip over before the spoiler could ever do its job, or a half-hop strut down the sidewalk in jeans with the crotch down to the knees, it's an attention getter, and it's the most primal social instinct that we have. It dissapates as we mature- thank God.
I liken it to little kittens sparring as they learn to kill.
Unfortunately, the behavior is an invitation to a vehicular contest that can and does kill.

He's doing what he does to his car for everyone else to look at. Just like a lions mane, it's a bluff, and chances are he's hoping noone actually calls him on it. Many times these kids have more guts than skill at an age when guts and stupidity are still interchangeable due to lack of experience.

Orrrr...
-he's a really nice guy and just likes it that way.

What I can't tolerate is a punk with a blaster tube speaker cranking up "thump-thump" - **** music that nobody else wants to hear - just to draw attention to himself. Makes me want to get out at a stop light as bash his skull. It's almost always a teen-aged boy, almost always wearing that stupid-*** backwards hat, almost always has more money wrapped up in plastic exterior parts than he does under the hood, and almost always has a rediculous monstrosity of a spoiler!

God I hate punks.
Punk-*** *************.
Punk. God-damn PUNKS!
punkity-punk punk.

"************! I'll take the hop outta yer hip, biotch!"

Good Gawd - I just feel so angery all the time!

btw- don't everyone with a backwards ball cap start bashing me. Next week I'll pick on someone else.
