T2 turbo on 12a question

Anyone here run an s4 or s5 stock turbo without the coolant lines? But instead use a turbo timer or a few minutes at idle to let the turbo return to operating temperature before shutting it down?

I have ran those stock turbos like that a lot of times.my rx2 sedan is currently a hybrid turbo with no water line to it.if I run it hard I let it idle a few before shut down.

Cool. My assumption is that as long as its not ball bearing it should be fine. Especially if you let it cool down before shutting down.

Thanks man.

It will still run several HUNDRED degrees hotter than if you have the coolant lines functional.
